Kewpie is home to one of the most beloved boutique rooftops in Fitzroy. Formerly known as Bimbo, Kewpie is a new name, but you’ll still find the same cheap pizzas, cheap beers, and great tunes that Bimbo made famous. The graffiti-laden rooftop is the perfect spot to sit and chat with your mates while you devour pizzas that are too good to be this affordable.

The Kewpie cocktail list is also a lot of fun to work your way down, and if you feel like a boogie, the downstairs section always has a party going. From hip-hop to disco house, electronic and funk, the DJs always keep the good times rolling late into the night.

One of our favourites would have to be the State of Grace Rooftop which offers great views overlooking Melbourne city with a casual feel that is welcoming to all. The State of Grace Rooftop accepts bookings from Sunday to Thursday, and you can see how lucky you get on Friday and Saturday because this is a very popular perch. Conveniently located in the city’s heart, the venue also has a cool little hidden cellar bar called Fall From Grace, but it’s a secret.
