We painted our pubs purple…
We celebrated Wear It Purple Day again in August 2023 with crews across our pubs getting involved. Wear It Purple strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people.
On Friday 25th of August 2023, our staff were encouraged to show their support for the initiative by wearing the colour purple to work! For every person that came to their shift donned in something purple, Australian Venue Co. donated $5 to Minus 18.
Minus18 is an organisation passionate about leading change, building social inclusion and advocating for LGBTQIA+ youth in Australia.
1,687 of our friendly faces bought smiles with their colourful get-ups on the day raising an amazing $8,435 for Minus18!
