As part of the Jells Park program to increase biodiversity in the Dandenong Valley Parklands in Victoria we ran our own Plant a Tree Day to help play our part in a more sustainable future.
Local Heroes is Australian Venue Co’s charity partnership program which connects our venues across Australia to a local charity in the venue’s community.
Every pub, bar or venue will choose a local charity (Local Hero) to support through a weekly fundraising promotion.
Australian Venue Co. is working towards more sustainable operations through key goals in energy conservation, waste reduction, compostable packaging, sustainable sourcing, and carbon offsetting. Each pillar is driven by projects focused on minimising environmental impact across venues and offices.
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
