Getting our hands dirty for Plant a Tree Day!
As part of the Jells Park program to increase biodiversity in the Dandenong Valley Parklands in Victoria we ran our own Plant a Tree Day to help play our part in a more sustainable future.
On September 13th 2022, a team of 25 Australian Venue Co staff planted 100 established eucalyptus trees in the Dandenong Valley Parklands, which will draw around 20 tonnes of CO2 from our atmosphere. The project will also help to increase the local biodiversity, providing habitat, food and breeding areas for local regenerating wildlife, in one of the last large pockets of parklands in Melbourne.
