Do I need to have hospitality experience to get a job at Australian Venue Co.?

No you don’t necessarily need to have industry experience.  We are always keen to speak with people who are interested in developing a career in hospitality. We hire for attitude and willingness and will train you on everything you’ll need to be successful in the industry.

Does Australian Venue Co. sponsor and hire people from overseas?

Yes we do, and would welcome the opportunity to explore your experience and consider you for sponsorship.  When you are applying for a position on our career’s website make sure you correctly tick the box that indicates you would require sponsorship.  This will then notify the AVC Central Recruitment team of your sponsorship requirement.

If I apply for a job when can I expect to hear from somebody at Australian Venue Co.?

If I want a career as a chef will Australian Venue Co. support me through this?

Australian Venue Co. is committed to supporting people in developing a long and successful career in kitchens across any of our 185+ venues across Australia and New Zealand.

You will be given opportunities to work with some of the best kitchen management teams across Australia or New Zealand, whilst also be afforded with professional development through traineeships and apprenticeships.

If I am under the legal age of 18 years, can I still get a job at Australian Venue Co.?

Yes, you can.

Whilst you work for Australian Venue Co. and you are under the legal age of 18 years and/or do not have a valid RSA, Australian Venue Co. will employ you for jobs that do not require you to directly be in contact with beverages.

Is Australian Venue Co. supportive of people moving interstate for roles?

Australian Venue Co. encourages our team members to apply for opportunities across any of our 180+ venues in Australia and New Zealand.  Depending on the position we also look to provide financial support to assist with the relocation.
