Guide to a Perfect Perth Engagement Party

4min January 24th, 2020
You’re going to need a drink (or two) before the wedding plans begin!

Love is in the air. Before the ring-a-ling-ling of the wedding bells how about starting your new life together with an engagement party at one of Perth’s trendiest and charming venues.

The Aviary

Step inside The Aviary and enter the classy and exclusive longue bar.  Bring a touch of old-world charm to your party plans in the 100-person room. For something more relaxed the rooftop is also for hire offering breathtaking views of the Perth skyline. Whatever option you choose one thing is for certain: you’re going to want to try the mini glazed and filled donuts, trust us.

Sweetwater Rooftop Bar

Sweetwater is the joint to book if you’re looking to leave a lasting impression. Banging views of the East Freo and the Port are sored so all you need is your guests. You’re invited to the garden terrace with 50 of your loved ones to enjoy Asian inspired grub and drool-worthy canapé platters. Organize a pop-up gin and tonic bar and this just may be the engagement of the year, seriously.

The Guildford Hotel

Celebrate your new history together in the historic (and heritage listed) Guildford Hotel. With a variety of charming spaces on offer both indoors and out it is entirely up to you how big you’re willing to go. The Vaudeville Room drips elegance as the natural light spills through onto the wooden floorboards.  This is definitely the place to keep it classy.

Wolf Lane

Can you keep a secret?  The wolf is a small bar with a big personality.  Follow the laneway to the backdoor and enter the Mezzanine. It offers a semi-private space for 40 so you can enjoy your love in a lively atmosphere. Why not trigger a cocktail package and let the expert bartenders take care of you with made to order sips. These guys are pros. Add a little magic with a self-serve lolly bar. This is definitely one for those with a sweet tooth.
