We’re exploring ways we can reduce waste, re-use and recycle in our venues and offices every day to help us tread more gently on the planet.
We’re rolling out LED lighting at our venues across Australia in 2022. LED lights are significantly more energy efficient and with lower carbon emissions than traditional fluorescent lighting.
We are currently rolling out LED lighting throughout our Victorian venues, which is expected to be completed by March 1, 2022.
Our goal is to divert more than 50% of waste away from landfill. We’ll achieve this by introducing organic waste bins at our venues & training our staff on organic waste management. We aim to introduce organic waste management to 100% of our venues by the end of 2022.
This means that we can compost a greater volume of our waste, such as food waste and compostable single use products such as napkins, straws and more.
We are currently rolling out Organic Waste Management across Victoria.
We’re dialling up the number of plant based menu options on our menus. Meat-free alternatives are now widely available for two of our most popular pub classics: our Eggplant Parmas & Beyond Burgers have been an instant hit!
